Did You Ever Dance With The Devil In The Pale Moonlight? :An Introduction to Post-Modern Left Hand Path Magick Part I:
Black magick. Voodoo & hoodoo. Pacts with the Devil & all the darkest, evilest, malevolence spewed forth from the bowels of Hell. Furies unleashed on your enemies. Enemies crushed like insects. The neighborhood virgin who wouldn't give you any time on any day, now she is your personal love toy. All through the power of the Lord of Flies! Now stand up from your seat, walk to the television & turn off the Vincent Price horror film you've been watching. Lets get real, shall we?
A. Easy Enlightenment is a Lie
What I have described is the fantasy of magick. A celluloid dream that you might as well abandon now. Instead I want to discuss the reality of magick- in practice. Comparatively, you might find it all quite banal. It also involves a great deal of work spread over years of practice. This is true in all cases I know of- even the Beast Crowley practiced years before he discovered his own magical synthesis. This means, if you want to advance in magick, you must be dedicated & work with some aspect of the Great Work everyday.
B. A Definition of Magick
"I. DEFINITION.
MAGICK is the Science and Art of causing Change to occur in conformity with Will.
(Illustration: It is my Will to inform the World of certain facts within my knowledge. I therefore take "magical weapons", pen, ink, and paper; I write "incantations"—these sentences—in the "magical language" i.e. that which is understood by the people I wish to instruct; I call forth "spirits", such as printers, publishers, booksellers, and so forth, and constrain them to convey my message to those people. The composition and distribution of this book is thus an act of MAGICK by which I cause Change to take place in conformity with my Will.[1])
[1.] By "intentional" I mean "willed". But even unintentional acts so-seeming are not truly so. Thus, breathing is an act of the Will-to-Live.

C. A Daily Series of Prayers
Below are a series of prayers written by Aleister Crowley. It follows Egyptian religion in its symbolism and the Godforms. I personally recommend this practice to the beginner as a first practice. Each prayer can be done in a minute or two, and if in public it can be performed mentally- so no one need know you are doing it. ( No reason to draw attention to yourself.) Now for those of you who believe this is easy to do, I offer you a challenge. Make yourself a time period ( 2 weeks to a month is perfect) and dedicate yourself to doing this practice four times every day without exception. This means no matter what is going on or what your sleep patterns are. You will learn how little discipline you probably actually have & how much you can have.

0. These are the adorations to be performed by aspirants to the A. . A. .
*Let him greet the Sun at dawn, facing East, giving the sign of his grade.[Sign of Enterer, then Elemental Sign] And let him say in a loud voice:
Hail unto Thee who art Ra in Thy rising, even unto Thee who art Ra in Thy strength, who travellest over the Heavens in Thy bark at the Uprising of the Sun.
Tahuti standeth in His splendour at the prow, and Ra-Hoor abideth at the helm.
Hail unto Thee from the Abodes of Night!
*Also at Noon, let him greet the Sun, facing South, giving the sign of his grade. And let him say in a loud voice:
Hail unto Thee who art Ahathoor in Thy triumphing, even unto Thee who art Ahathoor in Thy beauty, who travellest over the heavens in thy bark at the Mid-course of the Sun.
Tahuti standeth in His splendour at the prow, and Ra-Hoor abideth at the helm.
Hail unto Thee from the Abodes of Morning!
*Also, at Sunset, let him greet the Sun, facing West, giving the sign of his grade. And let him say in a loud voice:
Hail unto Thee who art Tum in Thy setting, even unto Thee who art Tum in Thy joy, who travellest over the Heavens in Thy bark at the Down-going of the Sun.
Tahuti standeth in His splendour at the prow, and Ra-Hoor abideth at the helm.
Hail unto Thee from the Abodes of Day!
*Lastly, at Midnight, let him greet the Sun, facing North, giving the sign of his grade, and let him say in a loud voice:
Hail unto thee who art Khephra in Thy hiding, even unto Thee who art Khephra in Thy silence, who travellest over the heavens in Thy bark at the Midnight Hour of the Sun.
Tahuti standeth in His splendour at the prow, and Ra-Hoor abideth at the helm.
Hail unto Thee from the Abodes of Evening.
*And after each of these invocations thou shalt give the sign of silence, and afterward thou shalt perform the adoration that is taught thee by thy Superior. And then do thou compose Thyself to holy meditation.
*Also it is better if in these adorations thou assume the God-form of Whom thou adorest, as if thou didst unite with Him in the adoration of That which is beyond Him.
*Thus shalt thou ever be mindful of the Great Work which thou hast undertaken to perform, and thus shalt thou be strengthened to pursue it unto the attainment of the Stone of the Wise, the Summum Bonum, True Wisdom and Perfect Happiness.

Feel free to adapt these rituals to your own theology, since my path is bound to be different than yours. Ironically, it is our individualism that unites us.
