In my recovery of the old FFU board I have uncovered a good deal of lectures from our old administrator. They are worth their weight in gold and I want everyone to read through them, absorb what they have to say, and meditate upon this:
Learning is not doing. We can learn and quote many beautiful things. We can speak intelligently and know a good deal about what it means to be a good person, a good Jedi, or a good Force user in general. It doesn't mean diddly if you don't practice it and put it into motion.
We have so much to learn from this board and from each other, from those who have departed from us, from those of us who are still here, and from those of us who have yet to come to this place.
Karma means action, and the vehicle of the Force is you.

Agreed. Practice is necessary. Do not forget we can also learn from our Best friends the ANIMALS The animals are in tough with the Force most of their lives except when sick. Animals do not have the brainwash that makes it hard for a person to feel the Force. No false doctrines in the animal kingdom.Animals are open and resceptive. They are very loveing. Even tough preditor animals have pleasent auras.

And they always forgive their Momma, even when she's gone for a few days to make merry at her relatives' place. ~Alena

Cats, I always love Cats! I LOVE all animals and it seems that they know it. The animals return the love. I have hawks, opposoms, squirrels and others come and visit just to be friendly.

I like most animals more than I like most humans. My father has a few pets, but they like him not me or anyone else, I mean they're nice, but there's no connection between them and anyone else except my Father. I have one pet, a Snake. I have a way of, for lack of a better word, communicating with him, we have a way of understanding each other.

I've contemplated getting a snake, but I think two kitties and the potential of fish are enough. I can't picture a snake getting loose around the kitties. ~Alena

Darth Draconus, you might want to read snake totem as i know that you read dragon. Yes you can communicate with a snake. You can communacate with any animal if you take the time and effort to.

We have seven cats of various ages and our dog crossed over more than a year ago. We love them as though they were real children and they get into things and antaganise each other like real children.

I'll read the Snake totem as soon as I can. Alena, there are many snakes such as the type I have that would be in more danger from the cat rather than the other way around. Ball/Royal Pythons(this is the species I have been taking care of) are not venomous, live for approximately 30 years, and grow to an average of about 3-4 feet during their life. Just a thought if your main concern was the kittens.
