My job took over my life for a time, and I wasn't able to start the book discussion in a timely fashion. I apologize for that! I will be starting it before the weekend. Please let me know here if you've read the book and wish to begin.

We just purchased the book. I am now reading about Albert Einstien. This book is interesting because it tells about his life and his theories.
The book exposes the Nobel prize thing as riddled with politics rather than REALLY picking the man who deserves it. The auther of this Einstien book that I am reading shows that Einstien never got the Nobel Prize for his theory of Relitivity or his Gravitational fields theory even though these are the two things he is most famous for and where he changed the nature of physics since Isaac Newton. The reason Einstien was kept off from recieveing the Nobel Prize for these two theories was because it was considered "Jewish Physics". It seems that the Nazis and other German nationalists groups were able to keep Einstien off from getting the Nobel Prize where he should have got it. It definatly says to me that the Nobel Prize winner is not as special as first thought because if you have to please the "Good ole boys" it devalues the award. You either earned it or not. It should be on merit not Race,Religion, Lack of religion, Communist, Capitalist or any other lame excuse to keep you out!!! You either forfilled the scientific requirement or not, plain and simple.
Einstien was clearly a genious so some moron who hated the fact that Einstien considered himself a member of the Jewish people by tribal relations should not have been a factor in decideing weather he should get an award or not. I was supprised that a man of Einstiens stature got treated so poorly considering that just to mention his name is sinonomous with genious. I also liked the fact that Einstien defended the poor.
