...for my absence on here. I utterly dropped the ball on a million things and literally one thing happened after another.
First I was on the job assignment from hell which meant 60-80 hour weeks and no time for anything, even on weekends.
Then my book went into publication, and my writing career took over my free time after work. Then my publishing company went under and my book was out of print. I just got a new contract with another publishing company and that's coming along really well along with the rest of my works in progress.
Now that I have learned to juggle my writing, main job, and life MUCH better, I'm slowly returning to the outside world. I have been intensely involved in my spiritual work and that takes up a huge amount of my time. I received my White Tara initiation in December, and my Green Tara initiation this past weekend. I have been wanting the Green Tara one for the past thirteen years and am THRILLED. I am also going to be getting back into yoga.
In short my work utterly sucked up my life. In all fairness though, I had a LOT of really intense spiritual stuff that's been the focus of my attention since last June. It's been a long, strange trip and continues to be. It's a GOOD trip though; just been a little chaotic and not always easy to digest.
I want to let everyone know here that I'm sorry I vanished without a trace. I feel immensely guilty because I care about the work we're all doing here, and I see that the board has not languished in my absence which makes me utterly THRILLED to see. Thanks, guys. I was deeply afraid things were going to die down for good, and I really like this place.
In any event, I'll be playing catchup with the posts here over the next few weeks. Anything that needs to be brought to my attention, please do so via private email or message on here.
