My story of how i became a jedi..
An archbishop once told a group of youths including me that some people when they notice something they question why something is instead of how something is. Why is the sky blue? Why is the grass green?
they ask with their brain in hope of a truthfull scientific answer to why it is so
He said that other people ask these same questions but with their heart and mind by using the word how.
How is the sky blue? How is the grass green?
These people wish to know if there is a higher being above or if there is an ultimate force grasping the universe together.
i pondered on what he said and realised that lately i have been asking too much of the why and not enough of the how. and so since then i have been looking for a way to answer these questions with my heart.
we were studying buddhism at school and we all took a meditation class to try and become calm and one with the cosmic energy in the universe.
after listening to that lecture from the archbishop i tried to ask myself how there was a cosmic energy and as soon as i did during meditation, i felt such one overcome my being.
since then i went back to the Jedi teachngs which i had used previously that year and have decided ever since to try and answer the ultimate questions of how, through the will of the force and by meditating.
now i believe the force is an all binding energy that holds the universe in balance, and i ask how the force does so through meditation and thought.
i am now a training consular jedi and try to follow the code as much as i can just because even after the small experience in meditation class i feel that now i can tune in to the force and so i wish to study it completely.
i am a padawan of ashla knights and wish to go on to knighthood soon enough through the will of the force and the guidance of my peers.
that was how i became a jedi not why...there is no why
thanks for reading this far
hope it made sense
cheers
