To the Sith, My name is Darth Tendim. I am in need of a solid master-student training as just plain research on my own is not for me. I live in Florida and am 14 years old. I seek to learn both ways of the Force light and dark so I will have a greater understanding and power in the ways of the Force. I already am learning the ways of the Jedi from another website and I want to learn both ways at the same time. If you accept me as a student I will gladly do whatever you say. May the Dark side serve you well, Darth Tendim

Not many people on the forum takes an apprentice, infact it's a wide spread view that, at least over the internet, people shouldn't take apprentices, especially considering you're giving out your age, which by the way is considerably young, especially considering you're asking someone to give you pseudo-religious lectures on a regular basis. However, I suppose that's never been a moral issue for me in the past, my second apprentice turned out to be a bit young, always awkward. Anyway, I take apprentices if nobody else will do it, and typically no one else ever does (not that they should feel obligated to either).

There are always more people looking for a master than those willing to take on an apprentice.

What are you looking for in a master? What do you wish to learn? I usually do not take on an apprentice because the last apprentice I took on got scared when I told him how to do rune craft. I usually tell many things and let the person make up his own mind.

That's all you can do at the end of the day, still though, part of that fear goes hand in hand with the allure of the force. It is a way for humans to become masters of the unknown and paranormal, at least the path of the sith is to an extent, and that has always fascinated mankind. In that same token, if you believe that powers beyond your comprehension exists, then it is not a stretch to say that the same power that may cause pain with a thought can be turned against you. Most of the time it's a take it or leave it proposition for people, and if the apprentice believes themselves stronger than such malign forces, then there is no reason for fear.
