What a Jedi is
To me Jedi is a keeper of the peace that is a Jedi in a nutshell. A Jedi is a follower of the force who lives by the Jedi code and by certain values. A Jedi should make everyday as peaceful as possible. A Jedi should live the code every day and not when they feel like it. The Jedi code is …
There is no Emotion ; There is Peace
There is no Ignorance ; There is Knowledge
There is no Passion ; There is Serenity
There is no Chaos ; There is Harmony
There is no Death ; There is the Force
There is no Ignorance ; There is Knowledge
There is no Passion ; There is Serenity
There is no Chaos ; There is Harmony
There is no Death ; There is the Force
Each line has its own meaning and should not be taken literally as it can cause harm to a person mentally and physically. A Jedi should live by certain values. The values I live by are…
Respect
Honour
Justice
Generosity
Perseverance
Self Discipline
Awareness
Restraint
Humble
Patience
Honour
Justice
Generosity
Perseverance
Self Discipline
Awareness
Restraint
Humble
Patience
Again each value has its own purpose for my life. And Self control can be broken down into several other values. Not all Jedi will have the exact same values but near enough the same. If you look at ten Jedi you will see the similarity in values. The Jedi should also never forget the three pillars of Jediism. These pillars are
Self Discipline
Knowledge
The Force
Knowledge
The Force
These are the three pillars of Jediism and every Jedi should know them. Although Self Discipline is one of my values it is also a pillar of Jediism. A Jedi should also remember that everyday is another day for learning and that no matter how much they know about Jediism, the world, or the force that there is always more to learn. From the smallest of things to the biggest of things each day has new things to learn.
