Felines are the most "Sith" Beings ive ever seen in my life.. [if your a cat person that is] think about it. those of us who adore cats, allow them to rule many facets of things. if you go to work and come back home and your cat has no food in his bowl, best believe he will be at the door the moment to walk through the threshold to "tell" you all about it. Cats think of nothing but of themselves, while grooming, eating, drinking, playing, being petted and i assume while sleeping. think about this as further proof: when you have more then one cat, you typically only pet one at a time and most times the one your not petting is vying for your attention. but this is not always the case as some like to seclude themselves in hiding places. tell me what is more "Sith" then that of a cat? i say we should all strive to further be like the cat.

I agree and disagree with you. I agree that we can all learn from cats. I also believe that we can learn from ALL animals. Each has its medicine and message to teach. I also do not see the cat as only having the negative treats of selfishness. Like all mammals on earth cats have both the selfish gene and the altruism gene. this is scientifically proven in a book called "Shadows Of Forgotten Ancestors" by Carl Sagan. So the cat like most animals are both selfish and altruistic. I have seen cats attempt to defend their owners when a person gets aggressive at the person who owns the cat. Cats being so small (referring to house cats) are not always successful at protecting their owners but that does not mean that they have not tried. I have owned multiple cats and have had them all gather around for pats excepting the sharing. I think it depends on the OWNER how much the cat is selfish and aggressive or how much the cat is altruistic. Cats like all pets are a Rorschach test on their owners, like human children they learn the behavior in which they were taught or allowed to get away with.
I am clearly a cat person but the cats I have owned showed a balance of selfish and altruistic behavior. I am a Sith of balance so my pets pick it up from me and learn the same behavior as exhibited in me. Animals are smarter than man gives them credit. They see everything.

of course i meant this as a more of a general statement... [shoulda put that lol] but cats are very "Sith" simply because of the power they can gain over you. now us being Sith would never allow this to become a chain. so perhaps this power is an illusion, [or perhaps notin some cases], either way the cat know what it can get away with... think about it this way... they never allow chains into their life.[whether they know it or not] but the fact is that they as a whole for the most part could take or leave humanity [aside from cat of owners], when humanity is gone, they [assuming all life isnt extinct of course] will continue on. honestly i couldnt agree with you more, however i never really highlighted those as negative characteristics. but believe me i completely believe that animals as a whole can detect and reflect the owners characteristics. infact if memory serves they did a king of the hill episode concerning this...

I guess we agree after all. You are right as to the fact that cats never allow chains on them. They will leave an owner if he/ she treats the cat badly. In this sense cats are Sith because they put up with no guff. This is a cool lesson we can learn from cats. I think there survival skills are better than human survival skills.
Here one has to ask why to humans get caught in bad situations they can not leave? Usually it involves lack of money. If we were like cats we would try to figure the secret of how to not need money or how one can obtain this stuff more readily. Both questions do not have easy answers or we would all be like cats. But this is a good start to meditate on.

ah yes and back to my question what possibly is more "sith" then a feline:) but either way yout correct, learning from this can be a valuable lesson if thought of in the correct parameters:) but see that is usually where the one to be enlightened must be enlightened enough to understand the lesson.

Just curious, did you look at the totems? If you did you will see that the animals can teach much if we listen to them. If an animal comes to you it can have a message for you. Here is where your senses come in because here is where your instincts are needed. Some times you just know the moment you see the animal. Some times you can be blocked and can not feel a thing. Again the animal can come to tell you even if for some reason your sensing is turned off.
