Have any you ever considered whether the prophecy might be a real one?
Consider, Anakin's mother says that he was born "without a father" in 'Episode I'
... seeded by the force it's self. (a virgin birth)
And the scene inside the troop transport where a conversation takes place between Obiwan, Yoda, and Mace Windu where one of them begins to express doubts in him when Obiwan says "Is he not the chosen one, who is supposed to bring balance to the force and destroy the sith?" Then yoda says, "Perhaps missread the prophecy was."
... Missread indead...!
Take Psalm 110:
And if you are confused or have any doubt as to who those passages refer,
Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker and the story of Star Wars is a modern interpretation (with druidic and buddhist overtones) of the prephecies concerning the Second Comming

Take Psalm 110:
1 The LORD said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”
2 The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion.
Rule in the midst of Your enemies!
3 Your people shall be volunteers
In the day of Your power;
In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning,
You have the dew of Your youth.
4 The LORD has sworn
And will not relent,
“You are a priest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek.”
5 The Lord is at Your right hand;
He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath.
6 He shall judge among the nations,
He shall fill the places with dead bodies,
He shall execute the heads of many countries.
7 He shall drink of the brook by the wayside;
Therefore He shall lift up the head.
“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”

And if you are confused or have any doubt as to who those passages refer,
41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 saying, “What do you think about the Christ? Whose Son is He?”
They said to Him, “ The Son of David.”
43 He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying:
44 ‘ The LORD said to my Lord,
“ Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”’?
45 If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his Son?” 46 And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare question Him anymore.
-Matthew 22
