"A wolf gazed down upon a heard as he approached from over the mountains. It was instinct to kill but the wolf saw things other than the machinations of nature. He saw that their existance was low and that they were pitied. They served no purpose other than to feed him. He watched longer that they might prove him wrong. Surely they had life so surely they had purpose for having that life. He watched as they grazed and slept...he watched as they slept and then rose only to feed again. He watched this cycle, shaking his head. They were no better than the trees or water, he learned. He continued his way down to the heard and prepared to eat once again when he came upon a familiar looking sheep. It was no sheep but a wolf in sheep's fur. He watched to be sure but it did eat grass as sheep and it did bay like a sheep. "What," stammered the lone wolf as he approached the wolf among the sheep. "Are you not a wolf like me? Are we not brothers?" "What are you doing? Get away! I am a sheep." "But you are not white, you do not eat grass...you are a hunter of these animals as I am." "But I will not be accepting among them if they know what I am. Go away. I am happy." The lone wolf returned to his solitude after slaying and eating the sheep of that valley. Every sheep that bayed and ate grass."
