As Jedi, we are looking for that stillnes, that peace, that comes from meditation. Many of us think that in order to have peace, that we must be sitting in a cool, dark room. How ever, peace dose exist elswhere. Noise, both mental and audible, are built off of a common foundation : Silence and Stillness. By learning to do this, we find that peace is everywhere, and is all too easy to find. Let go of your mind, of your consious self, and learn to simply be present, and not get boged down with the slow and repetitive thoughts of the mind, the mental 'noise' i spoke of earlier. When used correctly, the mind is an invaluable tool. However, when allowed to control instead of kept in control, it often clouds are judgment, impairs our senses, and dulls our wisdom. Learn to feel this peace everywhere you go, and you will become stronger for it.

While I agree that the word "peace" should be replaced with "stability" in every instance because peace is indeed a lie(in my opinion), this article is obviously Jedi Orientated, so try to keep teachings specific to the Sith in the Sith section *wink*.

One question I have, how does one maintain this peace, say in the workplace, when the mind is needed to be focused on a task or situation?

That's a question I tangle with frequently.
