Many, many people wish to train under a master. We see many new members on the boards posting their requests for someone to train them. I get people contacting me after seeing my archive, wishing to become my apprentice.
Unfortunately, the truth is that there are far more people looking for a master than there are masters to train them. And even those who have some knowledge might not know what to do if they did take on an apprentice.
If you have come to this board looking for a master, you are unlikely to find one here. But don't be disheartened- there are other ways that you can learn! Take a look around the boards- first, go to the Introductions section and take a few minutes to tell us about yourself. Then you can start poking around the boards to see what information you can find. There are lessons to read, links to be found, and other Force users you can learn from. If you have a question or a comment about a lesson, post it! If there's another topic you can offer some insight on or want to learn about that you can't find, make a new thread.
You may not be able to find a master, but you can be your own master. Take charge of your own training. Read lessons, ask questions, and choose to study the things that you are interested in. There are many knowledgeable people here who are perfectly willing to answer questions and participate in discussions, but do not want to take on an apprentice.
We have a community here of people who want to learn- join us, and help to make our community better! If we all are both teachers and students, we can all learn from each other and teach each other.
