Tao Te Ching – One
The Tao Te Ching has some connection to Jediism. The Tao Te Ching although hard to understand at first is full of wise passages that are great to read and understand. Below is the first part of the Tao Te Ching.
The Tao that can be followed is not the eternal Tao.
The name that can be named is not the eternal name.
The nameless is the origin of heaven and earth
While naming is the origin of the myriad things.
Therefore, always desireless, you see the mystery
Ever desiring, you see the manifestations.
These two are the same--
When they appear they are named differently.
This sameness is the mystery,
Mystery within mystery;
The door to all marvels.
You may be looking at this confused. So below I will explain how each line connects to Jediism and the force.
The Tao that can be followed is not the eternal Tao.
The name that can be named is not the eternal name.
Let’s just say the Tao in Jediism is the force. The force that can be followed is not the eternal force. So the force is not actually called the force as it has many names. Names are only symbols for something. Example you cant show someone three. If you hold up three fingers its not three it just symbolises the number. Same with the force, the force that can be named is not the eternal force. You cannot explain or show the force threw words only be experience. It is to powerful and endless to be explained threw words.
The nameless is the origin of heaven and earth
While naming is the origin of the myriad things.
The nameless is the force and it is the creation of everything. It is the creator of all people and every single thing on the earth. The force is endless and flows within everything it is the origin of everything on this earth everything that has been here and gone things that are hear and the things that are still to come.
Therefore, always desireless, you see the mystery
Ever desiring, you see the manifestations.
To understand the mysteries of the force one must trust in the force and do the will of the force. If one is not free with the force one will never understand the nature of the force.
These two are the same--
When they appear they are named differently.
This sameness is the mystery,
Mystery within mystery;
The door to all marvels.
The sameness is the mystery and the mystery is life. The life is a mystery and anyway we take it, it will lead us to wonder more and more.
